Eligibility

• All participating members must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• Entries are open to full bands only. Solo artists, duos, DJs, tribute acts, and backing-track performances are not eligible.

• Bands must perform primarily original music. Cover bands and tribute bands are not eligible to participate.

Submission Requirements

• Bands must submit original music recordings and any additional materials requested by Fox Fam Jam.

• Submitted materials must be the original work of the participating band and may not infringe upon any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others.

• By submitting an entry, bands certify that they have the legal right to perform all submitted material.

Finalist Requirements

• Bands selected as finalists must be able and willing to travel to Central Florida to compete in the live finals and perform at the Fox Fam Jam Presents: Phantasmagoria Festival, November 6–8.

• Finalists are responsible for their own transportation and any other travel-related expenses unless otherwise specified by Fox Fam Jam.

• Failure to appear for scheduled performances or competitions may result in immediate disqualification.

  Right to Modify or Cancel

  Fox Fam Jam LLC reserves the right to amend these rules, reschedule, postpone, or cancel the competition due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather, venue issues, emergencies, or circumstances beyond its control.

Performance Rules

• Bands must perform original material during all competition rounds.

• Bands must adhere to all stage schedules, set lengths, and equipment guidelines provided by event organizers.

• Excessive, dangerous, illegal, discriminatory, or destructive behavior may result in immediate disqualification and removal from the event.

Judging

Bands may be evaluated on criteria including, but not limited to:

• Originality and songwriting

• Musicianship and technical ability

• Stage presence and live performance energy

• Audience engagement

• Overall artistic presentation and professionalism

All judging decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

Media Release

By entering the competition, participants grant Fox Fam Jam LLC and its affiliates permission to photograph, film, record, and use the band’s name, likeness, performances, and promotional materials for advertising, marketing, social media, livestreams, and future promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Liability Release

Participants assume all risks associated with participating in the competition and festival. Fox Fam Jam LLC, its owners, staff, sponsors, volunteers, affiliates, and venue partners shall not be liable for any injury, loss, theft, damage, or expense incurred by participants during the competition or festival.

Acceptance of Rules

Submission of an entry constitutes full acceptance of these Official Rules and Guidelines and all decisions made by Fox Fam Jam LLC and its designated judges and representatives.
